Planning <br />9. If archeological materials are uncovered during grading, trenching, or other on-site <br />excavation, all work shall stop and the City immediately notified. The County Coroner <br />and the Native American Heritage Commission shall be notified and procedures <br />followed as required by the California Environmental Quality Act. A similar note shall <br />appear on the grading and construction plans. <br />10. A construction trailer shall be allowed to be placed on the project site for daily <br />administration/coordination purposes during the construction period. At no time shall <br />campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as living or sleeping <br />quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles, if any, shall be removed from the <br />site at the end of each workday. <br />11. The project developer shall implement the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC), <br />"Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)" 2.1 or 2.2 rating systems in <br />the design, construction, and operation of the proposed building, including all future <br />tenant improvements. These measures shall be shown on the building permit plan set <br />submitted for review and approval before issuance of a building permit. In conjunction <br />with the building permit application, the project developer shall determine the <br />building's "LEED Green Building Rating", using the USGBC evaluating methodology, <br />and shall report the rating to the Planning Director. <br />12. The proposed green building checklist shall be shown on one of the first two pages of the <br />plans submitted for the issuance of a building permit. The sheet number(s) where each <br />checklist item is addressed in the plan set shall be noted on the checklist. All proposed <br />green building measures shall be shown throughout the plan set, as appropriate, as <br />determined by the Planning Director and the Chief Building Official. <br />13. The Building and Safety Division may require special inspections for the green building <br />measures proposed. If required, the applicant shall provide verification to the Planning <br />Department clearly stating that the Building and Safety Division has inspected and <br />approved all applicable special inspections relating to green building measures. Said <br />verification shall be provided prior to occupancy of the home. <br />14. The applicant shall submit an exterior lighting plan for the site and building, including <br />photometrics, for the review and approval of the Planning Director and Chief Building <br />Official prior to the issuance of building permits. The lighting plan shall comply with <br />the City's Security Ordinance (Chapter 20.36 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code) and <br />the following requirements: <br />(a) Lighting shall be directed away from adjacent properties and shall incorporate <br />cut-off shield-type fixtures to prevent glare onto adjacent properties or <br />roadways. <br />
