Miscellaneous reproduction and binding of documents and other material not included in the SCOPE OF SERVICES of this AMENDMENT shall be limited to $1,500.00; this limit will not be exceeded without written authorization (by let- ter) by the City; separate accounting will be established to monitor the costs of this work. SCOPE OF SERVICES The CONSULTANT's work is described in the following tasks. TASK 2-1: ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT The CONSULTANT will be the prime contractor with the City for engineering services for this project. The CONSULTANT may contract with Subconsultants to provide special services; however, the CONSULTANT will be responsible for management of the project consultant team, coordination with the City and affected agencies, and production of the material in- cluded in this scope of services. Subtasks are: Task 2-1.1: Administration Administer the prime contract with the City and the contracts with subconsultants. Monitor compliance with the provisions of the agreements. Provide a single point of contact for the City with regard to contractual matters. Task 2-1.2: Monitoring Monitor progress regarding budget and schedule. Provide status reports and billings on a monthly basis. Task 2-1.3: Management Manage the work efforts and coordinate the activities of the project team. Compile work plans, schedules, budgets, and direction regarding project goals and objectives. Conform to Caltrans standards regarding product quality, format, presentation, graphics, and content. Disseminate informa- tion, direct team efforts, coordinate work tasks and outside contracts. Task 2-1.4: Coordination Meet with Caltrans and the City at the beginning of the de- sign to confirm understandings, requirements, and expecta- tions regarding the project.
