AMENDMENT NO. 3 <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON AND CH2M HILL <br /> AUTHORIZATION OF SERVICES <br /> FOR FINAL DESIGN OF THE STONERIDGE DRIVE INTERCHANGE <br /> ON 1-680 <br /> FOR THE NPID FREEWAY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br /> <br />1. Purpose: <br /> <br /> The purpose of this AMENDMENT is to authorize and direct <br /> the CONSULTANT to proceed with the work specified in <br /> Item 2 of this AMENDMENT, in accordance with the provi- <br /> sions of Article 1 of the AGREEMENT between the parties <br /> hereto dated July 2, 1985. <br /> <br />2. Scope of Work: <br /> <br /> The work authorized by this AMENDMENT is described in <br /> the "Scope of Services" attached hereto as EXHIBIT "2-A." <br /> <br />3. Time of Performance: <br /> <br /> The work authorized by this AMENDMENT shall be completed <br /> as shown on the attached schedule in EXHIBIT "2-B." <br /> <br /> If the work described in EXHIBIT 2-A of this AMENDMENT <br /> is not completed by January 1, 1989, the remaining work, <br /> schedule and cost shall be renegotiated at the option <br /> of the CONSULTANT. <br /> <br />4. Compensation and Payment: <br /> <br /> Compensation for the fixed price portion of the work' <br /> authorized by this AMENDMENT shall be $800,000.00. <br /> Task 2-1.7 shall be compensated on a labor and expense <br /> basis not to exceed $40,000.00. Payment shall be in <br /> accordance with ARTICLE 2 of the AGREEMENT. <br /> <br /> It is understood that wherever "extra work" is ref- <br /> erenced in EXHIBIT "2A", the scope, cost, schedule, and <br /> impact of the "extra work" shall be negotiated and com- <br /> pensated in accordance with ARTICLE 8: CHANGES of the <br /> AGREEMENT. <br /> <br />5. Effective Date: <br /> <br /> This AMENDMENT shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its execution by both parties. <br /> <br /> <br />
