2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br />a.March 14, 2007 <br /> <br />Commissioner Blank noted that the second sentence of paragraph 1 on page 11 should be <br />modified to read as follows: “He believed that the City should also encourage bike lanes <br />and pedestrian access between cities in order to minimize control pollution and <br />congestion.” <br /> <br />Commissioner Pearce noted a typographical error on the sentence of paragraph 9 on <br />page 5 and requested that it be corrected as follows: The Commission then discussed t <br />Attachment 1.…” <br /> <br />Commissioner Olson noted that sentence on the last paragraph on page 5 should be <br />modified to read as follows: “Commissioner Olson sensed that the City’s Commission’s <br />relationship with ABAG has been strained at times….” <br /> <br />Commissioner Olson noted that the second sentence of the first paragraph on page 9 <br />should be modified to read as follows: “There are traffic and public safety that need to be <br />provided for….” <br /> <br />Commissioner Olson noted that the last sentence of the second paragraph on page 9 <br />should be modified to read as follows: “No agreement has as been arrived at to date.” <br /> <br />Chairperson Fox requested that the following language be added at the beginning of the <br />first paragraph under 4. Revisions and Omissions to the Agenda on page 3: “Michael <br />O’Callaghan and Peter MacDonald, the original requesters of Item 6.b., were in the <br />audience and inquired whether their item could be heard before Item 6.a.” <br /> <br />Chairperson Fox noted that the sentence on the second paragraph under 4. Revisions and <br />Omissions to the Agenda on page 3 should be modified to read as follows: “…in view of <br />this, a speaker several speakers for Item 6.b. was were still en route to the meeting with <br />the expectation that the their item would be heard….” <br /> <br />Chairperson Fox noted that on under Page 14-2 on page 5, she asked what staff’s source <br />was that it would be the job growth area. <br /> <br />Chairperson Fox noted that the second to the last sentence of the first paragraph under b. <br />PRZ-37, City of Pleasanton on page 11 should be modified to read as follows: “Michael <br />O’Callaghan had spoken before the Commission and believed it could be considered as <br />an office use and not subject to a conditional use permit and regulation by the City.” <br /> <br />Chairperson Fox noted that the last sentence of the first paragraph under b. PRZ-37, City <br />of Pleasanton on page 11 read: “She suggested that it be given a conditional use permit <br />for that small business activity.” She believed that she had read from the minutes and <br />agreed that the small businesses should not be overregulated. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES March 28, 2007 Page 13 of 16 <br /> <br /> <br />
