6. To advise City management staff on affirmative action <br /> and equal. employment opportunity matters. <br /> <br /> 7. To assist City management staff in processing <br /> affirmative action and equal employment opportunity <br /> matters. <br /> <br /> 8. To keep the City's management staff informed of recent <br /> developments in equal employment opportunity. <br /> <br /> 9. To review periodically employment policies, rules, and <br /> regulations to insure they comply with equal employment <br /> opportunity rules and regulations. <br /> <br /> 10. To maintain that information necessary to gauge the <br /> effectiveness of the affirmative action plan. <br /> <br /> 11. To review periodically job descriptions to insure job <br /> requirements are job related and do not include <br /> artificial barriers to employment. <br /> <br /> 12. To review selection procedures to insure they are in <br /> conformance with the Uniform Guidelines for Employee <br /> Selection. <br /> <br />C. MANAGEMENT STAFF: <br /> <br /> 1. To adhere to the City's affirmative action policies. <br /> <br /> 2. To support the Personnel Director in the implementation <br /> and administration of the City's affirmative action <br /> plan. <br /> <br /> 3. To tahe appropriate action necessary to prevent the <br /> harassment of employees. <br /> <br /> 4. To insure all employment actions and decisions for which <br /> they are responsible are in keeping with the policies <br /> set forth in the City's affirmative action plan. <br /> <br /> 5.
