functional extension of Bernal Avenue from its terminus at <br />Kottinger Avenue west through the Catholic Church and Bonde <br />properties to the extension at the "Old Towne" development <br />(hereinafter referred to as the Bernal/Bonde extension). <br /> <br /> 1.4 Lin has agreed to contribute as a public <br />needs fee pursuant to the Long Term Agreement the sum of <br />Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000) to be used for <br />construction of the Bernal/Bonde extension. <br /> <br /> 1.5 A contribution of Ninety Six Thousand Dollars <br />($96,000) will be made by the developers of the Lund Ranch <br />pursuant to a Long Term Agreement for the construction of <br />the Bernal/Bonde extension. <br /> <br /> !.6 The estimated cost of c~nstruction (including <br />cost associated with the acquisition of right-of-way) to <br />complete the Bernal/Bonde extension ~s no more than One <br />Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000). Lin <br />proposes by way of this agreement to provide interim <br />financing (or a letter of credit) to City in order to <br />orovide the necessary funding to complete the Bernal/Bonde <br />extension. <br /> <br /> 1.7 Lin also owns a 4.93 acre parcel at the <br />Southwest quadrant of the Las Positas/I580 overcrossing <br />which has been set aside for acquisition by the North <br />Pleasanton Improvement District as part of the overcrossing <br />improvements.
