He did not believe the comments of the Planning Commission were reflected in <br />this process. <br /> <br />If Council chose to go in this direction, Mayor Hosterman believed Council would be <br />potentially making the statement that it would ignore the work done thus far because it does not <br />fit in with the Downtown Design Guidelines. She was afraid Council was at risk of taking this <br />project through another major public review process when a large segment of the community <br />approves of the project and the overall design. <br /> <br />Mr. Thorne said he would support the original motion. <br /> <br />Ms. McGovern said her intent was to have a peer review by Larry Cannon to review the <br />fa9ade of the building and the texture and color pallet in an attempt to soften the building.
