ROLL CALL <br /> <br />City Clerk Dawn Abrahamson called the roll, which was recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Steve Brozosky, Cindy McGovern, Matt Sullivan, Jerry Thorne, <br />and Mayor Hosterman. Staff members present were: Nelson Fialho, City Manager; Michael <br />Roush, City Attorney; Jerry Iserson, Director of Planning and Community Development; Sue <br />Rossi, Director of Finance; Jacqui Diaz, Assistant to the City Manager; and Dave Iremonger; <br />Financial Services Manager. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Sullivan requested agenda item 4k, amendment to the Vineyard Avenue Corridor <br />Specific Plan Shared Infrastructure Financing Program, be removed from the Consent Calendar <br />to Public Hearings and Other Matters, agenda item 6g. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Mr. Thorne extended Council's thanks for Mr. And Mrs. Harrington for donating a <br />sculpture for the front of the Veterans Memorial Building. The piece, entitled Poppies, is a <br />bronze sculpture, depicting a Veteran sitting on a bench. The Veteran is waving a flag and <br />holding poppies in his hand. The sculpture is a touching memorial to the community's Veterans. <br /> <br />It was moved by Mr. Thorne, seconded by Ms. McGovern, that the following <br />actions under the Consent Calendar be taken. <br /> <br />a. Approved the minutes of 11/01/05 and 10/25/05 joint workshop and special meeting. <br /> <br />b. Adopted Resolution 05-081, a resolution of application by the City of Pleasanton <br />requesting the Local Agency Formation Commission to take proceedings for the <br />proposed Annexation/Detachment No. 148 (Vineyard Avenue Realignment) pursuant to <br />the Cortese-Knox-Hertzberg Local Government Reorganization Act of 2000, and <br />adopted Resolution 05-082, a resolution agreeing to the exchange of property tax <br />revenue for Annexation/Detachment No. 148 (Vineyard Avenue Realignment). <br />(SR 05:292) <br /> <br />c. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. (IR 05:059) <br />There was no action taken or required on this item. <br /> <br />d. Accepted proposed gift of public art for the Veterans Memorial Building. (SR 05:313) <br /> <br />e. Proclaimed November 20-26, 2005 as "National Family Week" in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />f. Accepted public improvements for the Water Pressure Reducing Stations off of Vineyard <br />Avenue, Project No. 001026. (SR 05:315) <br /> <br />g. Accepted public improvements for the Vineyard Avenue Sanitary Sewer, Bernal Avenue <br />to Clara Lane, Project No. 032056. (SR 05:316) <br /> <br />h.
