It was moved by Ms. McGovern, seconded by Mr. Brozosky, to adopt <br />Resolution 04-094, a resolution appointing Mr. Brozosky as Vice Mayor for 2005, <br />and adopting Resolution 04-097, a resolution appointing Councilmembers to <br />various regional and local boards, commissions and committees which includes <br />appointing Ms. Mc(i0vern to the Associated Community Action Program (ACAP), <br />appointing Ms. McGovern as the alternate to the Tri-Valley Transportation Council <br />(TVTC), appointing Mayor Hosterman/Ms. McGovern as the appointees to the <br />Dublin San Ramon Services District Liaison Committee with the understanding <br />that the Mayor review the appointments made and revisit the matter with Council <br />in one month. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brozosky, McGovern, Sullivan, and <br /> Mayor Hosterman <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />8._.~c <br />City of Pleasanton Downtown Association Aqreement. (SR 04:284) <br /> <br /> Dave Iremonger, Financial Services Manager/Treasurer, presented the staff <br />reports. <br /> <br /> Christine Salidivar, Executive Director of the Pleasanton Downtown Association, <br />highlighted the activities of the Pleasanton Downtown Association for this year and its <br />plans for 2005. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky complimented the Pleasanton Downtown Association for <br />successfully promoting the businesses in the downtown. <br /> <br /> Ms. McGovern said the partnership between the City and the Pleasanton <br />Downtown Association is great and adds to making the downtown a vital place. <br /> <br /> Mayor Hosterman invited public comments. <br /> <br /> Peter MacDonald, President of the Pleasanton Downtown Association, supported <br />Ms. Salidivar's comments. <br /> <br /> Mayor Hosterman closed the public comments. <br /> <br /> Mr. Sullivan complimented the Pleasanton Downtown Association for providing a <br />great service to the business community and the residents by offering economic <br />programs and events. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brozosky, seconded by Ms. McGovern, to approve the <br />renewed agreement between the City and the Pleasanton Downtown Association <br />to administer the Downtown Pleasanton Improvement District. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 11 12/07/04 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
