Ms. Ayala asked Ms. Booth to discuss the WHEELS program for seniors. <br /> <br /> Ms. Booth noted that WHEELS provides free service for senior citizens aboard <br />WHEELS fixed route service busses between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky asked Ms. Booth to inform the public about art that was introduced <br />in Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Ms. Booth said that a mural is featured at the bus shelter located at Santa Rita <br />Avenue and Black Avenue. Under Mark Lighffoot's direction, three students from <br />Foothill High School completed a beautiful mural, which features highlights of <br />downtown Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Kent Pryor, 3425 Bemal Avenue, Treasurer of the Pleasanton Tulancingo Sister <br />City Association, presented a gift to Mayor Pico from Presidente Marlo Macias Munoz. <br />He noted that Presidente Marlo Macias hoped to visit Pleasanton during the upcoming <br />northbound delegation visit, September 8-13, 2004. Presidente Marlo Macias presented a <br />bell to Mayor Pico during the Association's 21st delegation visit to Tulancingo, Mexico, <br />April 23-28 2004. The bell is a symbol of the state of Hidalgo. He noted that the Sister <br />City community fundraiser would be held on August 7 at the Alameda County <br />Fairgrounds. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico reminded the public that the Caledonian games would be held in the <br />City of Pleasanton on September 4 and 5, 2004. <br /> <br />There were no further speakers. <br /> <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> <br />Item 6a <br />City Council Priorities for 2004.2005. (SR 04:119) <br /> <br /> Deborah McKeehan, presented the staff report and reviewed the summary of the <br />project priority rankings, particularly the following nine priorities that had less than three <br />numbers ranking the same: <br /> <br />City Hall - Long Term Space Needs: Councilmember Campbell changed <br />his ranking from a Highest Priority to a High Priority. <br /> <br />Delucchi Restrooms: Councilmember Hosterman changed her ranking <br />from a High Priority to a Highest Priority. <br /> <br />Mobile Home Parks: Councilmember Brozosky changed his ranking from <br />a Highest Priority to a High Priority. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 8 06/01/04 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
