Due to lack of majority support by Council, the priority of/and uses to allow a <br />southeast baseball diamond was removed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Ms. Hosterman, to adopt the <br />Council priorities as amended and discussed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky questioned the need to have the West Las Positas Traffic Study as a <br />priority. <br /> <br /> Councilmembers Ayala and Hosterman understood this priority to mean that staff <br />would follow Council's direction and not conduct a study for the West Las Positas <br />interchange. <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan noted that this issue is a part of the General Plan process and staff <br />would finish the General Plan with the direction that Council has given staff. This issue <br />needed to be included in the Environmental Impact Report and Council could ultimately <br />make the decision to not conduct a study for the West Las Positas interchange. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman, and <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan pointed out that the General Plan has many comments with regard to <br />fiscal policies. She noted that this issue is important to staff, and staff will continue to <br />watch the budget over the long tenn. <br /> <br />The meeting recessed at 9:15 p.m. <br /> <br />The meeting reconvened at 9:26 p.m. <br /> <br />City Council Meeting Schedule for 2004.
