Mayor Pico stated that he would not support the motion, as he believed the City <br />had a valid program that would free up some monies for much needed capital <br />improvement projects. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala and Brozosky <br />NOES: Councflmembers - Campbell, Hosterman, and Mayor Pico <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Pico, seconded by Ms. Hosterman, to approve the <br />following related actions and amendments to the Capital Improvement Program <br />(CIP): <br /> <br />Retain the current practice as set forth in the 1998 Development Fee Impact <br />Report (Fee Report) of limiting In Lieu Park Dedication Fees for the <br />acquisition of parkland. <br /> <br />Approve a transfer of $2,856,000 of In Lieu Park Dedication Fees from the <br />New Community Park - Site Acquisition Reserve project (037028) to the <br />Happy Valley Open Space/Callippe Preserve Golf Course project (998049) to <br />be used toward reimbursing the General Fund for the purchase of the <br />portion of the project that relates to parkland and wildlife mitigation. <br /> <br />Approve a transfer of $2,856,500 of General Fund revenue from the Happy <br />Valley Open Space/Calllppe Preserve Golf Course project (998049) to the <br />General Fund CIP Reserve, of which $500,000 would be allotted to the <br />Happy Valley Bypass Road Reserve project. The remaining $2,356,500 <br />would be reallocated as part of the Mid-Term CIP. <br /> <br />Amend the CIP by reducing fuoding for the New Commuuity Park - Site <br />Acquisition Reserve by a total of $2,856,500 in years 2003-04 and 2004-05 to <br />reflect the transfers listed in numbers 2 and 3 above. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky stated that he did not support the motion. He asked for an <br />amendment to the motion to allot $1 million dollars to the Happy Valley Bypass Road <br />Reserve project. <br /> <br />Mayor Pico and Ms. Hosterman did not support the amendment. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Campbell, Hosterman, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: Counciimembers - Ayala and Brozosky <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 33 01/06/04 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
