(IR 03:024) <br />No action was required or taken on this item. <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution No. 03-084, in support of and authorizing execution of agreement <br />with participating law enforcement agencies as provided in the Office of Traffic Safety <br />Grant Agreement for the project entitled "Removing Impaired Drivers Project AL0307". <br />(SR 03:198) <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution No. 03-085, certifying that City assessments comply with <br />Proposition 218. (SR 03:197) <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution No. 03-086, approving a 10% increase from $2:00 to $2.20 in the <br />flag drop fee and the per mile rate for taxicabs. (SR 03:199) <br /> <br />Appointed City Manager Deborah Acosta McKeehan as the voting delegate and City <br />Attorney Michael Roush as the voting alternate to the 2003 league of California Cities' <br />Annual Conference. (SR 03:211) <br /> <br />Approved the Assignment and Assumption Agreement approving the change of <br />ownership for the Gatewood Apartments; and directed staff to amend the Amended and <br />Restated Regulatory Agreement dated September 1, 1993 (Regulatory Agreement) to <br />extend the term of affordability from January 1, 2012 to January 1, 2018. MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brozosky read the commendation for Meghana Vijayraghavan and Kyle <br />Shimasaki. The students then demonstrated their prize winning invention. <br /> <br /> Police Chief Tim Neal presented commendations to Ron Mahler, David Young and Keith <br />Averell for assistance to a police officer at Vintage Hills School. Mr. Mahler was present to <br />accept the commendation. <br /> <br /> Pamela Stoddard, Executive Director of the Pleasanton Downtown Association, <br />announced the awards presented by Mount Diablo Magazine to Ruma, for Best Gift Shop, <br />Stacy's Caf6, for its cosmopolitan drinks, Blue Agave for its margaritas and as best Mexican <br />restaurant, and finally to Downtown Pleasanton for the best overall outdoor dining.
