(SR 03:152)

Ms. Hosterman referred to Goal #5, Objective 4, commiting the City to provide a fair
share of the regional market rate housing need. She was concerned about using the words
"fair share" because there was no adequate definition. Is that in accord with the City's
current Housing Element or something other than that?

Mayor Pict felt it was appropriate to include in the motion that the Economic Vitality
Strategic Plan should conform to the City's Housing Element and not overrule it.

PUD-16-1M, Applied Biosvstems (IR 03:023)
Application for a minor modification to PUD-16 to modify the approved development
plan for Applied Biosystems, located at 6001-6085 Sunol Boulevard, to fill in the
remaining portion of the reed ditch and related site modifications.
No action was required or taken on this item.

Reviewed proposals and awarded a contract to Sycamore Landscaping Corporation for
Trash Collection of Park and Trail Waste Receptacles for a low bid of $54,121.92;
authorized the City Manager to execute the contract for this project; amended the FY
2003/04 Operating Budget to: a) transfer additional funding fi.om the General Fund to
account #417-412-4354, in the amount of $3,602, and b) transfer $7,800 originally
budgeted in account 417-412-4334 to account #417-412-4354.
