The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Ayala, Campbell, and Vice Mayor Dennis <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Councilmember Michelotti and Mayor Pico <br /> <br />Item 6b(1) <br />PAP-37 (PSP-3/PUD-82-10-10M, Allen Roberts and Robert Grove) <br />Appeal of the Planning Commission's decision denying a General Plan conformity <br />determination, Vineyard Corridor Specific Plan Amendment, and PUD development plan <br />modification to reconflgure the lots located at 24, 27, and 28 Grey Eagle Court and the City <br />of Pleasanton's Bonde II water tank property, in order to relocate the lot and buildin~ <br />envelope area at 24 Grey Eagle Court to generally south of the water tank site, to develop <br />general design criteria for the new lot, and to expand the building envelope area for 28 <br />Grey Eagle Court.. (SR 02:239) <br /> <br />Also consider the negative declaration prepared for the project. <br /> <br />Item 6b(2) <br />Determination whether a portion of City water tank property, should be declared surplus <br />property; Agreement for Purchase and Sale of Real Property.. (SR 02:254) <br /> <br />Brian Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Mayor Pico declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Allen Roberts, 27 Grey Eagle Court, and Robert Grove, 28 Grey Eagle Court, indicated <br />there had been fifteen years of neighborhood controversy over the previous building site. The <br />current plan has been agreed upon by all parties and has been heard three times before the <br />Planning Commission. The Grey Eagle Homeowners Association has unanimously approved the <br />plan. Many people from the Grey Eagle were present at the meeting and raised their hands in <br />support of the plan. He asked that the house plan not be required to be taken before the Planning <br />Commission. Mr. Roberts said he has worked on the plan with staff and the Planning <br />Commission and complied with all the City requirements. <br /> <br /> Mr. Grove indicated a solution has been worked out and he asked for Council's help to <br />make it a reality. He noted some people may think of the City as a large, impersonal <br />bureaucracy, but he and Mr. Roberts thanked Council and staff for all the time spent helping <br />them to resolve this matter. He especially thanked Mr. Roush, Ms. McKeehan and Mr. Swift. <br /> <br /> Steve Barraza, 4 Eaglet Court, said it was nice to see Allen and Bob at the same podium. <br />As a member of the Architectural Committee in the Grey Eagle Estates, he urged Council to <br />approve the plan.
