CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Ms. Dennis, that the following actions on the Consent Calendar be taken: Approved the monthly disbursements, investment report, and COPS AB 3229 expenditure report for July 2002. (SR 02:207) Status review of City Council priorities. This item was continued to September 17, 2002. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. (IR 02:037) No action was required or taken on this item. Traffic Committee Minutes of 8/1/02. (IR 02:032) No action was required or taken on this item. Adopted Resolution No. 02-096, declaring the official intent to reimburse expenditures from the proceeds of tax exempt securities for the Pleasanton golf course and open space project and related infrastructure. (SR 02:204) Jerry Wagner, 6344 Alisal Street, was concerned about the plans to put in a golf course and houses without installing a bypass road. He said Council would hear from the residents of Happy Valley on a regular basis until the bypass road is installed. He felt the $3.5 million would be a good down payment toward the bypass road. This money has already been spent on this project and will be lost if the project fails. For that reason, if the money is allocated to the bypass road, he thought Council would be making a better investment in the project. He urged Council to adopt a resolution committing to apply the funds to the bypass road. Ms. Ayala and Ms. Michelotti indicated Council was committed to the bypass road and would find a way to build it if at all possible.
