MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />September 3, 2002 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Tom Pico at 7:05 <br />p.m. The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department Color Guard presented the colors and led the <br />assembly in the pledge of allegiance. The Mayor thanked the Color Guard for its participation at <br />the Caledonian Games and recognized their contribution to the community. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti welcomed the children back to school and urged more caution for drivers. <br />She mentioned there would be various events in observation of the September 1 lth attack and <br />noted the service at the Fairgrounds in the evening on that date. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers <br />present were Kay Ayala, Matt Campbell, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti and Mayor Tom <br />Pico. Staff members present were: Deborah McKeehan, City Manager; Michael Roush, City <br />Attorney; Brian Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; James W. Wolfe, <br />Director of Parks and Community Services; Stewart Gary, Fire Chief, Tim Neal, Police Chief; <br />Captain Dave Radford, Police Department; and Steven Bocian; Deputy City Manager. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Item 4m, Proclaim September 11, 2001 as "A Day to Remember," had been added to the <br />Consent Calendar by addendum. In addition, a Closed Session to confer with Real Property <br />Negotiator Deborah McKeehan concerning the potential sale of real property (portion of Bonde <br />II Water Tank site on Grey Eagle Court), had been added to the agenda by addendum. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 1 09/03/02 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
