Ms. Ayala requested that item 4k, Maintenance Plan for Bemal Property Public Parcels,
be removed from the Consent Calendar for discussion. She also requested that item 6a(1), Staff
recommendations regarding FY 2002-03 City Grant Program - Youth Category, be continued.
She did not believe that these grants were in conformance with the goals of the Youth Master
Plan. She also thought this item affected the School District and she wanted to discuss the matter
at the next Liaison Committee meeting.

Ms. McKeehan indicated the July agenda was very full and the matter would need to be
continued to the August 20 meeting.

Ms. Michelotti questioned the scheduling of the next few Council meetings. The first
meeting in July has been canceled and on this agenda the first meeting in August may be
canceled. It now seems everything is on the July 16 meeting agenda. She pointed out that the
second meetings in November and December are also usually canceled and wanted to be certain
that matters are handled in a timely fashion.

Ms. McKeehan said the agenda items just happened to be scheduled for July 16; it was
not because of cancellation of the July 2 meeting. There may be a special meeting in July for
other reasons relating to the Vineyard Corridor. In addition, staff is considering starting the
July 16 meeting at an earlier hour.

Ms. Dennis indicated she would not be present at the August 20 meeting.

4. CONSENTCALENDAR

It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Ayala, that the following actions
on the Consent Calendar be taken:

a. Approved the City Council Minutes for 6/4/02.

Adopted Resolution No. 02-066, appointing Joan Leighty as the City of Pleasanton
representative on the Bay Area Library and Information System Advisory Board.
(SR 02:141)

Actions of Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. (IR 02: 022)
No action was required or taken on this item.

Adopted Resolution No. 02-067, approving recommendations for use of State of
California Law Enforcement Technology Grant. (SR 02:133)

PUD-83-11-6M, ClubSport of Pleasanton
Application for a minor modification to an approved PUD development plan, PUD-83-
11, to construct an approximately 2,575 sq. fi., freestanding laundry facility at ClubSport
of Pleasanton located at 7090 Johnson Drive. (IR 02:023)
No action was required or taken on this item.

Pleasanton City Council 2 06/18/02
Minutes
