MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />June 18, 2002 <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Vice Mayor Becky <br />Dennis at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Ayala led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. Ms. Ayala reminded <br />everyone of the scholarship opportunities for youth programs. She also encouraged everyone to <br />shop in Pleasanton first. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers <br />present were Kay Ayala, Sharrell Michelotti and Vice Mayor Becky Dennis. Staffmembers <br />present were: Deborah McKeehan, City Manager; Michael Roush, City Attorney; Brian Swift, <br />Director of Planning and Community Development; Randall A. Lum, Director of Public Works; <br />James W. Wolfe, Director of Parks and Community Services; Susan Rossi, Director of Finance; <br />and Steven Bocian, Deputy City Manager. <br /> <br />Councilmember Matt Campbell and Mayor Pico were absent and excused. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Micheiotti, seconded by Ms. Ayala, to adopt Resolution No. 02- <br />065, adding item 4m, Resolution to authorize application for used oil recycling block grant. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Michelotti, and Vice Mayor Dennis <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Campbell and Mayor Pico <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 1 06/18/02 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
