Approved the final form of the Mobilehome Rent Stabilization Agreement; approved the <br />Hacienda Mobilehome Park Settlement Agreement; authorized the City Manager to <br />execute the agreements; and introduced Ordinance No. 1847, to be read by title only and <br />waiving further reading thereof, which reflects the terms of the amended rant stabilization <br />agreement. MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Ayn Wieskamp of the East Bay Regional Park District presented a review of Measure K, <br />a parcel tax to fund environmental maintenance, public safety, resource protection/restoration, <br />and public access, which is on the March 5, 2002 ballot. She briefly reviewed some of the <br />proposed projects and indicated more information is available on the District's website. She <br />asked Council for its support of the measure. <br /> <br /> Jerry Thorne, 5144 Hummingbird Road, Parks and Recreation Commissioner and <br />Chairperson of the Bemal Property Community Park Task Force, related the history of the Task <br />Force and an update on the work done to date. The location of the 50-acre park was determined <br />in order to have the least impacts by the lighted sports fields. He indicated the work of the Task <br />Force is basically finished and will be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Commission on <br />April 11, 2002, at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers.
