It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Mr. Campbell, to introduce Ordinance No. 1825, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, approving the application of South Front Investors LLC for Planned Unit Development plan approval to construct an approximately 17,545 square foot, two- story office building to be located at 6088 Sunol Boulevard, as filed under Case PUD-04, with the conditions set forth in the staff report, as previously modified by Council. He also wanted everything possible to be done to respect the privacy of the neighbors. This will be a major change for the lifestyle of the neighborhood, even though this use has been in the General Plan and Specific Plan for a long time. Mayor Pico inquired if this project included plans for a trail link to the East Bay Regional Park trails? Mr. Lum indicated this project does not deal with trails per se. It is only to widen the bridge. At the same time, it will not impede development of that portion of the trail in the future. The only impact would be a change in the location of the access gate.
