Ms. Ayala said it is not just her own opinion, but the comments of many people <br />she has talked to in the community. We are elected to represent the entire community. <br />When projects come forward, the main participants are those directly affected. She did <br />not think the silo would be an eyesore on the hillside. <br /> <br />The vote on the substitute motion was as follows: <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers- Ayala, Campbell, and Michelotti <br />NOES: Councilmember Dennis and Mayor Pico <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan clarified that Council wanted staff to continue with the rest of the <br />project while staff is reviewing the silo issue. <br /> <br />There was a break at 9:15 p.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was reconvened at 9:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Item 6b <br />Consideration of East Pleasanton Study and Scope of Work (SR01:020) <br /> <br /> Brian Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Adrienne Potter, 2601 Chocolate Street, inquired why Council decided not to <br />include Stoneridge Drive or Staples Ranch in the study area. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift said there was an approved Specific Plan for Staples Ranch and <br />Stoneridge Drive. Council determined it was not necessary to study those areas over <br />again. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico said there was an attempt to include those areas, but the majority of <br />the Council did not support that. <br /> <br /> Ms. Potter asked what the Council's motion was at this meeting? <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico said there was no motion as yet.
