She felt the current selling price for a 1300 sq. ft. house was quite high, She supported being able to take advantage of an opportunity to purchase a multi-ihmily dwelling project Mr. Bocian indicated staff has approached property owners with affordable unit requirements that are about to expire. Illhe progrmn allows for purchase of single family homes. but that is not the market staff is looking for. Ms. Micheloth asked what the city would pay for a house. Mr. Bocian said the City would purchase a house at the selling price and then would subsidize the resale price for an affordable buyer. It was moved by Mr. Pico, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to approve the residential property acquisition program, modifying it to delete single family residences at this time and adding mobile home parks.
