MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Chief Neat commended Officer Glen Robbins and Canian Wilko vom der <br />Oschlenabel, otherwise known as "Wilko," upon his service retirement. Wilko, 7 years <br />old, has been a dedicated and hard working police service dog with the Pleasanton Police <br />Department. He has assisted with the apprehension of over 200 criminals, helped other <br />agencies with the apprehension of over 20 criminals and assisted in numerous searches. <br />Wilko has also contributed significantly to the safety of police officers by assisting in <br />hazardous searches for dangerous criminals as well as other high risk activities. Through <br />public appearances Officer Robbins and Wilko have brought about a better anderstanding <br />of the City's Canine Program. <br /> <br /> Senator Richard Raincy presented Craig Scharton a joint resolution from the State <br />Assembly and State Senate honoring him for his outstanding contribution to the City of <br />Pleasanton as Executive Director of the Pleasanton Downtown Association. <br /> <br />Plcasanton City Council 3 09/05/00 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
