It ~vas moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to direct staff to <br />facilitate the cleanup condition in place for the barn renovation. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver did not think that would be helpful and Mr. Ciesielski is already upset <br />and will probably take Mr. Chestnut to small claims court to get reimbursed for the work <br />done so far. He has stated he does not want to deal with Mr. Chestnut and does not want <br />him on his property and Mayor Tarver did not want staff to get involved. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Michelotti and Dennis <br />NOES: Councilmembers Ayala, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAiN: None <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta said there is no system that is fool-proof. Staff does the best job it can to <br />notice people. There was confusion in this case because it would normally not have <br />required any kind of notice. (SR 00:057) <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis abstained from the item because her property is located within 300 feet <br />of the affected area. <br /> <br /> Brian Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked where the funding would come from for traffic calming. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift said it would come from the Capital Improvement Program and not at any <br />homeowner' s expense. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked if the traffic calming project was on the Capital Improvement <br />Program list and whether it would be addressed at the priorities workshop? <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift said yes. As soon as the process is resolved, the capital improvement <br />project would be formulated and presented to Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lum said several meetings have been held with the residents and within the next <br />couple of Council meetings, a report will be presented with a status and estimated costs of <br />potential solutions. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked if the City pays for improvements in the Vineyard Avenue <br />Specific Plan area, where does the money come from? <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 19 03/07/00 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
