It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to direct staff to <br />incorporate language that indicates if it is not feasible to have construction traffic <br />use a temporary road on the bypass road alignment, that other alternatives will be <br />sought in order to avoid all the construction traffic using Sycamore and Alisal. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Tarver, seconded by Ms. Ayala, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 99-132, changing the date of the Happy Valley annexation election to March 24, <br />2000. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Tarver, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to direct staff to <br />send a draft of the pre-annexation policies, including the modification regarding the <br />road, to the Happy Valley residents for review <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked if there was interest on the Council in placing an advisory measure <br />on the March 2000 ballot asking the people of Pleasanton whether or not they support or <br />oppose the direct injection of reverse osmosis treated wastewater into the groundwater <br />basin. <br /> <br />Ms. Ayala asked if he wanted an agenda item to discuss that. <br /> <br /> He said yes. He wanted to have it on the ballot to have an official statement from <br />the people of Pleasanton as to their position on the issue. <br /> <br />Council supported adding this as an agenda item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush indicated that because of the deadlines for the March 2000 ballot, staff <br />would place ballot language and other necessary actions on the December 7 agenda. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 13 11/02/99 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
