Las <br />Positas Blvd~, west of Route ~80~ east of Foothill R0ad~ and north of Bernal Avenue <br /> Mayor Gerton declared the public hearing on the application of Falender Hemes <br />open. <br /> Mr. Castre presented the developer's concept of the "zero lot line" detached <br />single-family homes together with a proposed high school, multiple area and a <br />park site. <br /> After considerable discussion on this matter, it was moved by Councilman <br />Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Beretlie that the "zero lot line" for <br />the Tentative Subdivision Map for Tract No. 3102 be approved in principal. <br /> Councilman Rega moved, and Councilman Reid seconded a substitute motion to <br />continue the public hearing to May 12, 1969, and continue for a decision on March <br />17, 1969, the matter of the preliminary planned unit development plan for Falender <br />H~mes, pending consideration of the Tentative Subdivision Map for Tract No. 3102 <br />by the Planning Commission on March 12, 1969. <br />The roll call vote. was.as.follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton <br />EOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MF~ETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Mrs. Mary Gremellion, 4062 Walnut Drive, requested that a tree on her property <br />line be removed because of the exposed roots which are growing on top of the ground <br />were making it impossible to mow her lawn and were uplifting the sidewalk. Las Positas Blvd.,..and containing approximately 2 acres <br /> Mayor Getton declared the public hearing open. <br /> Mr. Castre reported that the present zoning was RM-2500 and Mr. Oakes was <br /> requesting a rezoning to RM-1500 in lieu of obtaining a Variance Permit to allow <br /> the setback needed for the RM-2500. <br /> Mr. Kermit B. Benarson, 4185 Suffolk Way, protested the rezon~ng and stated <br /> that he was not advised by the developer that multiples would be constructed in <br /> that area. <br /> Mr. Bob Pearson, 3590 Churchill Court, Pleasanton, protested the rezoning ana <br /> displayed maps and drawings which revealed some possible inconsistencies in the <br /> requirements for multiple dwellings.
