<br />Resolution No. 69-266. authorizing Progress Payment No.1, in the amount of
<br />$2,575.00, be paid to Casa Verde Nursery for work completed in the Kottinger
<br />Park planting project, be adopted.

<br />Familv) District to the P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development) District that portion

<br />4-2, Assessor's Map Book 941, containing 30 acresl more or less
<br />Mr. Fales read the report of the Planning Commission, dated September 25. 1969,
<br />regarding this application, which stated that their Resolution No. 948 was passed
<br />unanimously approving the requested rezoning to the Planned Unit Development. Mr.
<br />Fales stated that a letter from the Murray School District. in which no stand on
<br />this issue was taken, was forwarded to the City Council previous to this meeting.
<br />Mr. Castro presented maps of the subject P.U.D. and stated that this P.U.D.
<br />is a change in concept and not land use.
<br />Mayor Gerton declared the Public Hearing open.
<br />Mr. Ted Fairfield, representing Stoneson Development Company, explained the
<br />land use and density.
<br />Messrs. Fisher and Friedman. architects for Stoneson Development, showed
<br />slides of Town House developments in other areas.
<br />Mr. Robert E. Lee. 4938 Drywood, reported that he had taken a poll of 100
<br />residents in the area of the proposed Town Houses and that 90 of the residents
<br />were opposed to this type of development at this time.
<br />Mr. John Price, 5094 Crestline Court, stated that with the increased density
<br />of the Town House development he was concerned about the five year capacity of the
<br />Sewage Treatment Plant. Mr. Fales advised him that this was no problem as the
<br />Sewage Treatment Plant has been expanded since its initial construction.
