Mr. Fales read a report from the Recreation and Parks Commission, dated June 12, !970, in which they requested that the City Council declare the week of July 2-9 as "Park ~nd Recreation Dedication Week". It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Gerton that July 2-9 ba declared "Park and Recreation Dedication Week". ~The roll call vote was as follows: :!.~ES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson and Mayor Reid ?IOE S: None ABSENT: Councilman Spiliotopoulos REPORTS OF THE CITY M~NAGER Presentation of the proposed 1970-71 Budge. t, Mr. Fales presented the proposed 1970-71 budget and asked that the City Council schsdule study session dates to review this budget. It was decided to schedule the first session at 7:00 P.M. on June 23rd and continu,e the study at 9:00 A.M. on June 27, 1970. Mqtters for the Information of the Council Mr. Fales suggested that the Director of Public Works report of the proposed TOPIC S Pooling Arrangement Report, dated June 5, 1970, at next week's meeting. Mr. Fales informed the Council that he had received a reply to his letter of June ist, from ~ir. Johnston, Chief of Real Property Division, General Services AdministratioTn, regarding parcels south of Highway 580, within the City of Pleasanton, that are being considered for exchage with property owned by the Santa Anita Development Company in Pasadena, In his letter, Mr. Johnston stated that should this exchange not materialize, the City of Pleasanton will be notified of this fact and also of the procedure on acquiring surplus government real property. Mr. Fales indicated that Mr. Johnston had made no reference to the Council's invitation to be present ~t a City Council meeting for the purpose of discussing this matter in detail. Mr. Fales stated that a reDoft from the City Attorney regarding Mobile Homes was forwarded to the Council for their information. Mr. Fales was requested to place this report on next week's agenda in case the councilmen would have any questions ::oncerning this matter. '~r.
