I~NUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California June 15, 1970 ~i~LL TO ORDER Mayor Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P,M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. F. GLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson and Mayor Reid were present. Councilman Spiliotopoulos was absent. Mr. Fales, Cl, y Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works and Mr. Castro, Director of Planning, were present° ~ GENOA AMENDMENTS ~ro Fales requested that a letter from Mr. John Corley, representing American Forest Products, be included under Communications. CO}~S~ CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Beratlts and seconded by Councilman Pearson that the follow- ~',e items listed on the Consent Cal~-'ar, ~"approved: a. Approval of the May, 1970, Claim Warrants in the amount of $56,216.47. b, Adoption of Resolution No. 70-134, approving the agreement with J.A. Jenks, regarding street improvements. c. Adoption of Resolution No. 70-135, approving the Final Map and Improvement Plans for Tract No. 3205, Arroyo Del Prado, Unit No. 11. d. Adoption of Resolution No. 70-136, Accepting the Grant Deed from Morrisor, Homes, regarding Tract No. 3070, for park purposes. e, Adoption of Resolution No. 70-137, Accepting an easement for a sanitary sewer crossing the Cabana site, from Falender Homes, regarding Tract No. 3123. Accepting the report of the Planning Commission concerning the General plan ameDdment regarding the revision of the circulation classification for Foothill Road between Bernal Avenue and Verona Road from a fou~-lane ' thoroughfare to a two-lane thoroughfare. g. Accepting the report of the Planning Commission regarding the re-classi{ice- tion of the properties on the north and south sides of Sonoma Drive from the Industrial Park District to the Study District. h. Scheduling a public ~earing for July 6, 1970, on the application of the Planning Commission to allow as a conditional use in an IndustriaI' Fark District, a "storage yard for commercial and/or recreational vehicles."
