I~NUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> June 15, 1970 <br /> <br />~i~LL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order <br />at 8:00 P,M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />F. GLL CALL <br />City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen <br />Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson and Mayor Reid were present. Councilman Spiliotopoulos <br />was absent. Mr. Fales, Cl, y Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, <br />City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works and Mr. Castro, Director of <br />Planning, were present° <br /> <br />~ GENOA AMENDMENTS <br />~ro Fales requested that a letter from Mr. John Corley, representing American Forest <br />Products, be included under Communications. <br /> <br />CO}~S~ CALENDAR <br />It was moved by Councilman Beratlts and seconded by Councilman Pearson that the follow- <br />~',e items listed on the Consent Cal~-'ar, ~"approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of the May, 1970, Claim Warrants in the amount of $56,216.47. <br /> <br /> b, Adoption of Resolution No. 70-134, approving the agreement with J.A. Jenks, <br /> regarding street improvements. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 70-135, approving the Final Map and Improvement <br /> Plans for Tract No. 3205, Arroyo Del Prado, Unit No. 11. <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of Resolution No. 70-136, Accepting the Grant Deed from Morrisor, <br /> Homes, regarding Tract No. 3070, for park purposes. <br /> <br /> e, Adoption of Resolution No. 70-137, Accepting an easement for a sanitary <br /> sewer crossing the Cabana site, from Falender Homes, regarding Tract No. <br /> 3123. <br /> <br /> Accepting the report of the Planning Commission concerning the General plan <br /> ameDdment regarding the revision of the circulation classification for <br /> Foothill Road between Bernal Avenue and Verona Road from a fou~-lane ' <br /> thoroughfare to a two-lane thoroughfare. <br /> <br /> g. Accepting the report of the Planning Commission regarding the re-classi{ice- <br /> tion of the properties on the north and south sides of Sonoma Drive from <br /> the Industrial Park District to the Study District. <br /> <br /> h. Scheduling a public ~earing for July 6, 1970, on the application of the <br /> Planning Commission to allow as a conditional use in an IndustriaI' Fark <br /> District, a "storage yard for commercial and/or recreational vehicles." <br /> <br />"i'he roll call vote was as fol~3ws: <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson ~nd Mayor Reid <br />FOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Spiliotopoulos <br /> <br /> ?UBLIC HEARINGS <br />~'here were no public hearings scheduled for this meeting. <br /> <br />~TTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />There were no matters continued for decision. <br /> <br /> SPECIAL REPORTS <br />There were no special. reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
