District to the Commercial Freeway District, that property described as a portion of Parcel 4, Block 1301, Assessor's Map Book 941, said property generally located at the southwest corner of Hopyard Road and Johnson Industrial Drive and containing approximately 5 acres, be introduced. Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open. Mr. Castro reviewee his report, dated September 17, 1970, which stated that the Planning Commission, on September 10, 1970, reconsidered the rezon- ing request of Dr. Young and further reviewed and considered the desirabil- ity of whether or not to continue with the Commercial Service District for the remaining parcel zoned Commercial Freeway District, namely, Enco Distributing Facility, and decided to uphold its previous approval taken on July 22, 1970, under their Resolution No. 1021. Mr. William Gale, representing Mrs. Virginia Perry, the property owner and Dr. Young, the applicant, spoke in favor of the rezoning. Discussion ensued regarding the Del Valle Parkway access and easement re- quirements. Dr. Young showed slides of his proposed Veterinary Clinic.
