Appligation to delete certain properties from Annexation }]o. 65 (Wyler/ <br />Perry. Vineyard Avenue) ~nd. file a ne~_Angexa~i______eon with L.A.F.C.. <br /> <br />Mr. Fales requested authorization to delete the property owners who had <br />protested the proposed Annexation No. 65, and file a new annexation <br />application with the Local Agency Formation Commission. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Mayor Reid that <br />the City Staff be authorized to file a new annexation application with <br />the Local Agency Formation Commission. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen ~ra~lis, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Pearson <br />ABSTAINED: Councilman Gerten <br /> <br />Application to reconsider the application to prezone from the Count~'s <br />A~ricultural DiStrict to the City of Pleasanton's Public and Institutional <br />District, that property gennerally"koc~ted east of Foothill Road and <br />sout~ 0~ Flagstone D~'ive, descr~"bed aS Parcel 69, Block 1049 Book 941 <br />of the Alameda Count~ Assessor's Office and containin~~ approximate~~ 2.07 <br />acres. <br /> <br />Mr. Fales reviewed the letter from Mrs. M. Kathleen Morine, Administrator <br />of the Sierra Private School, dated August 26, 1970, in which she requested <br />that the City Council reconsider the application to prezone the above <br />mentioned property and to discuss again, her request for the land use of <br />this property. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Gerton and seconded by Councilman Spiliotopoulos <br />that another public hearing be held on September 21, 1970 in order to <br />discuss this matter again. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Pearson <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> <br />There were no special reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COM24ISSIONS <br /> <br />There were no reports from Boards and Commissions. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />Report of the Director of Publi= Works Re: Signalization of the Main- <br />St..Mary~Spring Street Inte~Sectio~ <br /> <br />Mr. Fales reviewed the report from the Director of Public Works, dated <br />August 3, 1970. <br /> <br />~. Campbell displayed several plans of traffic patterns and recommended <br />that Alternate Plan la be instituted. Mr. Campbell, however, explained <br />that this plan would eliminate 11 diagonal parking spaces on St. Mary St. <br />Mr. Campbell suggested that some of these parking spaces could be saved <br />by converting the parking at ,that location on St. Mary Streey to <br />parallel parking. <br /> <br /> 5. 8-31-70 <br /> <br /> <br />
