Mr. Hirst requested that this item be continued to June 21, 1971. <br /> <br /> Application of First Pleasanton Investors for final development plan <br /> and final map app.roval Re: PUD"69-8', a sin le-f'amfiy townhouse ro- <br /> ject generaliX. located immedi,atelX. so.uth o~ Interstate Route 58~ and <br /> east of Tassa3ara Road; said propertX described as a portion of Parcel <br /> 2-5, Block 1101, Assessor's' Book 946, containing approximately 9.1 <br /> acres <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Mr. Aiello reviewed his report date~d May 18, 1971, the Planning Comm- <br /> ission Resolution No. 1088 with some 29 conditions, as well as various <br /> staff reports. <br /> <br /> Discussion ensued regarding roofing materials, prefabricated metal <br /> carports and other matters pertaining to this PUD. <br /> <br /> Mr. Charles Seymour, 492 San Gabriel Court, stated that this subdivis- <br /> ion will be located very close to an earthquake fault. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell reported that the Parks fault runs east and west through <br /> Pleasanton Meadows but the only fault that has been defined in this <br /> · valley is the Calavaras Fault. <br /> <br /> There being no further comments from the public, it was moved by Counc- <br /> ilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the <br /> public hearing =be closed. <br /> <br />IThe j roll call vote .~was as ~follows: <br /> <br /> AYES:' ...Councilmen.~Beratlis, Getton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br /> NOES: None Mayor Reid <br /> ABSENT~: None <br /> <br />After some discussion, ./it was. moved by Councilman Gerton and seconded <br />b~y .'Councilman Beratlis that. Resolution No. 71-118, approving the Final <br />Development Plan ~regardin PUD 69-8, · a single-family townhouse project <br />generally.located ~!immediate~y. south of Interstate Route 580 and east <br />of .Tassajar~a Road, described as a portion of Parcel 2-5, Block 1101 <br />Assessor' s .Map .Book 946 ..and containing approximately 9.1 acres, be <br />adopted. <br /> <br />A substituteI motions was moved by Councilman Pearson that Resolution <br />No.~ .71-118, 'approving !the Final Development Plan regarding PUD 69-8, <br />with .the,condition that the .developer be required tp provide cedar <br />shake roofs~ on all units, be adopted. <br /> <br />Counci!lman Pearson"s motion died for lack of a second to it. <br /> <br />Counci=lman .PearSon then moved a second substitute motion that Resolu- <br />tion No~..71-1L8, approving the Final Development Plan for PUD 69-8, <br />with the condition that the developer be required to post a ~2500 <br />bond per unit..,! ito .assure the City that the roofs will be satisfactory, <br />be.. adopted. <br /> <br />Councillman=~'~earsonl, s Isecond substitute motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br />IMayor. ~aid~.oa'~led! !for. the vote on the original motion made by Council- <br />m.~n EGerton. <br /> <br />The. ~:o~-1 .~=call ~o~e. =~as'-.
