'~ielating to Sections <br /> 'g' a~'d 'h', Itousehold Pets. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Mr. Aiello reviewed his report, dated December 1, 1970, and also re- <br /> viewed Planning Commission Resolution No. 1050, dated November 24, 1970, <br /> which recommended that the Ordinance Code be amended to not limit the <br /> number of household pet or pets, or any other animals from causing <br /> damage or hazard to persons or property in the vacinity, or to generate <br /> offensive noise, dust or odor. <br /> <br /> There being no oral or written public protests, it was moved by Council- <br /> man Gerton and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the Public Hearing <br /> be closed. <br /> <br />~ The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />~-) AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br /> 24ayor Reid <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSNET: None <br /> <br /> After some discussion, it was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded <br /> by Councilman Spiliotopoulos that Ordinance No. 621, amending Sections <br /> 2-5.21 and 2-6.24. City of Pleasanton Ordinance Code, relation to <br /> Sections 'g' and 'h', Household Pets, be introduced. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br /> Mayor Reid <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Adoption of a Cooperation Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and <br /> the Pleasanton HouSing Authority regarding low rent public hou.sin.~.. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fales reviewed the cooperation agreement between the City and the <br /> Itousing Authority, which, if approved, granted the Housing Authority <br /> permission to apply for Federal funds to further a study on the devel- <br /> opment of 200 low-rent housing units. <br /> <br /> Councilman Beratlis stated that he was not in favor of the City be- <br /> coming envolved in this matter and Councilman Spiliotopoulos concurred. <br /> <br /> There being no public protests, either oral or written, it was moved <br /> by Councilman.
