Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open. Mr. Aiello reviewed his report, dated December 1, 1970, and also re- viewed Planning Commission Resolution No. 1050, dated November 24, 1970, which recommended that the Ordinance Code be amended to not limit the number of household pet or pets, or any other animals from causing damage or hazard to persons or property in the vacinity, or to generate offensive noise, dust or odor. There being no oral or written public protests, it was moved by Council- man Gerton and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the Public Hearing be closed. ~ The roll call vote was as follows: ~-) AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and 24ayor Reid NOES: None ABSNET: None After some discussion, it was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Spiliotopoulos that Ordinance No. 621, amending Sections 2-5.21 and 2-6.24. City of Pleasanton Ordinance Code, relation to Sections 'g' and 'h', Household Pets, be introduced. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid NOES: None ABSENT: None Adoption of a Cooperation Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton HouSing Authority regarding low rent public hou.sin.~.. Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open. Mr. Fales reviewed the cooperation agreement between the City and the Itousing Authority, which, if approved, granted the Housing Authority permission to apply for Federal funds to further a study on the devel- opment of 200 low-rent housing units. Councilman Beratlis stated that he was not in favor of the City be- coming envolved in this matter and Councilman Spiliotopoulos concurred. There being no public protests, either oral or written, it was moved by Councilman. Spiliotopoules and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the public hearing be closed.
