MINUTES of THE MEETING of - THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California January 4, 1971 CALL TO ORDER- PLEDGE TO FLAG Mayor Robert Ried called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid were present. Mr.. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Mana- ger, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, and Mr. Aiello, Accting Director of Planning, were present. Mayor Reid extended a welcome to Boy Scout Cub Pack No.43, who were present in the audience. AGEN DA .AMEN DMEN TS There were no amendments to the agenda. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Gerton and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the following itmes listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved. a. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-1, accepting the Public Improve- ments in Tract No. 2954, Val Vista, Unit No. 5. b. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-2, approving the Final Map and Improvement Plans in Tract No. 3158, Arroyo del Prado, Unit No. 12. c. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-3, approving the Final Map, Tract No. 3266, Condominium. d. Appro.val of the Street and Utility General Plan regarding the Kaiser Sand and Gravel Industry Property. e. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-4, amending Resolution of Inten- tion No. 68-49, regarding Assessment District No,~ 67-1, West Pleasanton Sewer Project. f. Adoption, of Resolution No. 71-5, finding and determining that there is a surplus in the fund regarding Assessment District No. 67-1, West Pleasanton Sewer Project.
