Mr. Ron McNicoll, 492 St. Mary Street, reported that Dr. Carnazzo's <br />Real Estate Company also used it's address as 1598 Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br />There being no further comments from the audience, it was moved <br />by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Gerton that <br />the public hearing, be closed. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br />NOES: None Mayor Reid <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Councilman Spiliotopoulos stated that their was a definite need of <br />Dr. Carnazzo's emergency service in Pleasanton and suggested that <br />an extension of six months be granted with the condition that this <br />will be positively the last extension granted to him. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Gerton and seconded by Councilman Pearson <br />that Resolution No. 71-137, denying the appeal of Dr. W.S. Carnazzo <br />from an adverse decision of the Planning Commission in denying a <br />requested time extension in order to terminate and relocate a med- <br />ical office at 1598 Santa Rita Road, which is subject to revocation <br />of aConditional Use Permit, be adopted. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilman Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: Councilman Spiliotopoulos <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS'CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> <br />There were no matters continued for decision. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> <br />There Were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS~OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br />Report of the Recreation and Park CommisSion Re: Naming of Youth <br />Sports Park <br /> <br />Repor~ of the Recreation and Park Commission Re: .Special Commenda- <br />tion and Recognition <br /> <br />After some discussion of the above reports, it was agreed that they <br />both be referred back to the Recreation and Park Commission for <br />clarification. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />Approval of Contracts with DeLeuw Cather and company Re: Pedestr- <br />ian and Bicycle Safety Program and Traffic Engineering S~andard <br />Pract~'ces P~ogr'am f6'r the ei~y of Pleasanton <br /> <br />Mr. Fales explained the above contracts and stated that both of <br />these studies are portions of the program recently approved as <br />part of the two Federal Highway Safety Grants bY the Federal <br />Government. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Gerton and seconded by Councilman <br />Beratlis that Resolution No. 71-138, authorizing the appropriate <br />City Officers to execute the two agreements with DeLeuw, Cather <br /> <br /> 5. 7-12-71 <br /> <br /> <br />
