he understood the expansion of the Treatment Plant would not be <br />completed until January, 1973. <br /> <br />Mr. Chuck Seymour, 492 San Gabriel Court~ asked that the Council <br />consider the school problem in that area~ <br /> <br />Mr. William Borg, Assistant Superintendent of the Pleasanton School <br />District, stated that this would not create any more or less of a <br />problem than anywhere else in the school district. <br /> <br />There being no further comments from the public, it was moved by <br />Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that <br />the public hearing be closed. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br />NOES: None Mayor Reid <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Councilman Pearson stated that he felt that this matter should be <br />postponed until the VoC.S.D. Sewer Treatment Plant is ready to <br />handle the sewage from this tract° <br /> <br />It was ~oved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Council- <br />man Beratlis that Ordinance No. 633, rezoning from the Single <br />Family Residential District to the Residential Overlay District, and <br />to rezone 3.5 acres of the Single Family Residential to the RM-1500 <br />Multiple District, that property described as Parcels No. 1-2 and <br />1-3, Assessor's Map Book, 946, Block 3215, containing approximately <br />69.7 acres, bounded by the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way, <br />the Arroyo Mocho and Santa Rita Road, be introduced. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: Councilman Pearson <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Councilman Gerton <br /> <br />Appeal of Dr. Wo S. Carnazzo from an adverse decision of the Plann- <br />ing Commission in denying a requested time extension in order to <br />terminate a~d r~"lo6'~te a medical office at 1598 Santa Rita Road; <br />said medical office being subject to revocation of a Conditional <br />Use Permit <br /> <br />MayOr"Reid"declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br />Mr. Castro reviewed the communications and other information per- <br />taining to the appeal of Dr. Carnazzoo <br /> <br />Mr. Corley, the attorney representing Dr. Carnazzo, stated that his <br />client has been seeking an office in Pleasanton in which to practice <br />medicine, but has not found a suitable location. Mr. Corley re- <br />ported that Dr. Carnazzo has some 400 patients and if he is forced <br />to leave his present location, he will be unable to care for these <br />people. <br /> <br />Mr. John Vincent, Inglewood Drive, objected to Dr. Carnazzo pract- <br />icing from a residential dwelling because of it setting a precedence <br />in the City. <br /> <br />~r. Brian McQuay and Mr~ Ken Silva, both neighbors of Dr. Carnazzo, <br />complained about the parking and traffic situation caused by the <br />patients. <br /> <br /> 4. 7-12-71 <br /> <br /> <br />
