It was moved by Councilman Gerton and seconded by Councilman Spilio- <br />topoulos that this matter be referred back to the Planning Commiss- <br />ion for further consideration and a future public hearing at which <br />time the position of Holly Sugar Corporation may be presented to the <br />Commission. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br />NOES: None Mayor Reid <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />A proposed Sight Nuisance Ordinance to establish a procedure to abate <br />unsightly conditions such as ~ergrown vegetation', neglected build- <br />in~s, etc., which have an adverse ec6homic effect on surrounding <br />properties in the City. of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br />Mr. Hirst recommended that no legislative action is needed in this <br />area at this time, due to the existance of other ordinances and reg- <br />ulations. ' ' <br />Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br />Mr. Castro explained a map of the subject area and reviewed the <br />various reports concerning this proposed development. <br /> <br />Mr. Castro also reported that this tract will be sewered directly <br />into the VoC.S.Do Sewage Treatment Plant, in which there will be <br />capacity at the time this tract will be ready for occupancy which <br />will be the latter part of 1972. <br /> <br />Mr. Ted Fairfield of McKay and Somps, reported that this tract is <br />consistent with the intent of the General Plan. <br /> <br />Mr. Ted Lannin, 5372 Ridgevale Raod, suggested that this matter <br />be delayed until a re-evaluation of V.C.S.D'~ capacity is made, as <br /> <br /> 3. 7-12-71 <br /> <br /> <br />
