Mr~ Edgar stated that he would like to schedule a public hearing on this <br />matter sometime in mid July. He added that at that hearing' the staff' <br />can bring the City Counicl up to date on the rules under which the Cit~ <br />and Tele-Vue Systems operate. He also indicated that this would give <br />the residents of the City an opportunity to make any complaints regard- <br />ing the service provided by Tele-Vue Systems. -~ <br /> <br />Mayor Reid authorized Mr. Edgar to proceed with this public hearing and <br />Councilman Herlihy suggested that citizens present their complaints in <br />writing. <br /> <br />Report Re: Alameda County Criminal Justice Information S~stem <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar reported that this matter was approved by the Mayors' Confer- <br />ence at their meeting of June 7th, and it is recommended that each City ~" <br />Council endorse the project. Mr. Edgar further explained that-Alameda <br />County is proposing that the County establish a Criminal JustiCe Infor- <br />mation System in order to centralize information on criminals.
