He <br /> added that if this matter is continued, it will be over his objections <br /> and his company is within their rights to obtain a court order. <br /> <br /> After considerable discussion, it was moved by Councilman Pearson and <br /> seconded by Councilman Kinney that the reading of Ordinance No.668, re- <br /> zoning Tract No. 3312 to a Study District for a period of 90 days, be <br /> ~aived and the Planning Commission be instructed to proceed with a land <br /> use study on this property'. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Kinney <br /> that Ordinance No. 668, be introduced and adopted on an urgency basis. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Ried <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> <br />There were no special reports presented at this meeting, <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br />Report of the Director of Parks and Recreation Re: Revision of the Park <br />Dedication Ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Hirst reviewed his draft of the revision' of'the' P~rk'~Ded±cation Ord- <br />inance, which included doubling the acreage requirements, changing the <br />in-lieu fee and also insures that all residential dwelling units pay <br />their fair share. <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Patton, Director of Parks and Recreation suggested that a joint <br />Study Session be held by the City Council and the Parks and Recreation <br />Commi s s i on. <br /> <br />Councilman Mori expressed his concern over the total fees imposed by <br />the City which are placed on the residents and requested a report contain- <br />ing a comparison of total fees of surrounding communities." <br /> <br />Councilman Kinney expressed his concern over the cost of maintenance and <br />development of the increased amount of park land. <br /> <br />After consider discussion on this proposed ordinance and other related <br />matters, Mayor Reid requested that a Study Session be scheduled with <br />the City Council and Parks and Recreation Commission, in order to review <br />this matter in detail. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar read a letter from Mr. Robert Lee, 4938 D~wood., dated June 6,1 <br />1972, requesting a piblic hearing pertaining to decreasin~l't/~e~rate of <br />Tele-Vue Systems to $1.00 per month and/or revoking the.franchise in <br />Pleasanton, because of lack of adequate cable TV service. <br /> <br /> 4. 6-12-72 <br /> <br /> <br />
