Mr. Harding reported
that Kaiser had hired a Planning Consultant who proposed beautiful
plans for parks, lakes, golf courses and open-space. He further stated
that matters that were agreed upon at these committee meetings included
boundaries for gravel harvesting, buffering and landscaping around the
boundaries to mutually benefit the people in the valley and the gravel
companies. Mr. Harding emphasized that the current proposal is certain-
ly a far cry from that and felt that Kaiser should not be allowed to
~elch on its promises. ~e urged that the City of Pleasanton go on
record ~s s~rongly op~osing this current L~roposal. He also urged the
City to have representation at the next meeting of the Alameda County
Planning Commission that this matter would be heard.

2. 5-15-72
