Harry Elliott, developer of this land, stated there was no <br />way to develop the 5 acres in question and requested that consideration <br />be given for loss of value if rezoned. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, <br />that the public hearing on this matter be closed. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman <br />Pearson, that Ordinance No. 686, approving the application of the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton to rezone from the C-F <br />(CommeEcial Freeway) District to the R-1-6500 (Single Family) District <br />that parcel defined as 946-2555-1; from the RM-1500 (Multiple) District <br />to the R-1-6500 (Single Family) District those parcels defined as <br />946-2555-12, 946-2555-13, 946-2555-59, 946-2555-60, 946-2555-61, 946- <br />2555-62, 946-2555-63; from the P~4-4000 (Multiple) District to the <br />R-1-6500 (Single Family) District those parcels ~efined as 946-2554-1, <br />946-2554-35, 946-2554-92, 946-2555-2, 946-2555-11, 946-2555-14, 946- <br />2555-48, 946-2555-49, 946-2555-50, 946-2555-51, 946-2555-58; said <br />properties generally fronting on Vineyard Avenue or along the extension <br />of Tawny Drive, as noted on the approved tentative map, and further <br />application of the Planning Commission to reclassify the neighborhood <br />shopping center fronting Pico Avenue and Tawny Drive consisting of <br />approximately 14 acres, more or less, to approximately 10 acres for a <br />commercial neighborhood shopping center with the remaining 4 acres, <br />more or less, to be designated as a PUD Multiple Development (RM-2500) <br />density, said property more precisely described as Parcel 946-2551-1 <br />be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid requested the staff to review and report on the street <br />alignment relative to the extension of Vineyard Avenue as a part of <br />the above rezoning. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid recessed the meeting at 9:50 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid reconvened the meeting at 9:55 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid declared that since it was 10:00 P.M., item 14 would <br />be heard at this time. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Mrs. Sonia Koujakian, 6374 Ebensburg Lane, Dublin, spoke regard- <br />ing a problem she had with a water bill and deposit. Mr. Edgar was <br />requested to investigate the matter. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Diane Jager, 5529 Black Avenue, spoke regarding the speed <br />limit sign that was to have been put in last August on Black Avenue <br />near the Mormon Church.
