· REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br /> Approval of Agreement between the City and Chamber of Co~aerce to ~radually phase <br /> out City subsidy to the Chamber <br /> Mr. Edgar presented the staff report regarding this matter, stating the phase <br /> out would be as follows: <br /> <br /> Year ~ <br /> 1972-73 $4,066.00 <br /> 1973-74 2,150~00 <br /> 1974-75 6751,00 <br /> 1975-76 0. <br /> <br /> The following services, ordinarily provided by the City, will be provided by the <br /> Chamber as follows: <br /> <br /> a. Central Business District Christmas Decorations shall be provided through <br /> Fiscal Year 1973 at an annual cost not to exceed $1,070.00~ <br /> <br /> b. Fair Box shall be provided on an annual renewal basis at a cost not to exceed <br /> $170.00. <br /> <br /> c. Pleasanton Day at the Fair shall be provided on an annual renewal basis at a <br /> cost not to exceed $400~00~ <br /> <br /> d. Fair Street Decorations during Alameda County Fair to be provided on an annual <br /> renewal basis at an annual cost not to exceed $300.00. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Mori, that <br /> Resolution No. 72-162, approving the Agreement between the City and the Chamber <br /> of Commerce to gradually phase out City subsidy to the Chamber, and contracting <br />for services ordinarily provided by the City, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Magor Reid <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> Approval of A~reement with Housin~ Authorit~ Re: Fire Service to Komandorski,' <br /> Village · <br /> Mr. Edgar presented the staff report regarding this matter, stating fire ser- <br /> vice would be provided to Komandorski Village under this contract for a period <br /> October 1, 1972, through December 31, 1973, at a cost of $6~00.00. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that <br /> Resolution No. 72-163, approving execution of an agreement with Pleasanton Hous- <br /> ing Authority, for fire service to Komandorski Village, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Councilman Herlihy requested an annual report regarding fire calls to <br /> Komandorski Village. <br /> <br />Report of the Director of Public Works~ Re: Fin~a!Repo~ on Water quality <br />Management Plan <br /> Mr. Campbell presented the Final Report on Water Quality Management Plan, <br /> prepared by Brown and Caldwello The City Council accepted this report. <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> Mr. Edgar presented a written report regardj:ng the I~C.M.A. Conference which <br />he attended September 17-21, 1972, in Minneapolis. He elaborated on the Revenue <br />Sharing Bill stating that Pleasanton's'share would be approximately $196,000.00, <br />and could be used for Capital Improvements related to Health, Recreation, Items <br />related to the poor and aged, Financial administration, Environmental control, <br />Public safety, and Libraries.
