· REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER Approval of Agreement between the City and Chamber of Co~aerce to ~radually phase out City subsidy to the Chamber Mr. Edgar presented the staff report regarding this matter, stating the phase out would be as follows: Year ~ 1972-73 $4,066.00 1973-74 2,150~00 1974-75 6751,00 1975-76 0. The following services, ordinarily provided by the City, will be provided by the Chamber as follows: a. Central Business District Christmas Decorations shall be provided through Fiscal Year 1973 at an annual cost not to exceed $1,070.00~ b. Fair Box shall be provided on an annual renewal basis at a cost not to exceed $170.00. c. Pleasanton Day at the Fair shall be provided on an annual renewal basis at a cost not to exceed $400~00~ d. Fair Street Decorations during Alameda County Fair to be provided on an annual renewal basis at an annual cost not to exceed $300.00. It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Mori, that Resolution No. 72-162, approving the Agreement between the City and the Chamber of Commerce to gradually phase out City subsidy to the Chamber, and contracting for services ordinarily provided by the City, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Magor Reid NOES: None ABSENT: None Approval of A~reement with Housin~ Authorit~ Re: Fire Service to Komandorski,' Village · Mr. Edgar presented the staff report regarding this matter, stating fire ser- vice would be provided to Komandorski Village under this contract for a period October 1, 1972, through December 31, 1973, at a cost of $6~00.00. It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that Resolution No. 72-163, approving execution of an agreement with Pleasanton Hous- ing Authority, for fire service to Komandorski Village, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid NOES: None ABSENT: None Councilman Herlihy requested an annual report regarding fire calls to Komandorski Village. Report of the Director of Public Works~ Re: Fin~a!Repo~ on Water quality Management Plan Mr. Campbell presented the Final Report on Water Quality Management Plan, prepared by Brown and Caldwello The City Council accepted this report. Matters for the Information of the Council Mr. Edgar presented a written report regardj:ng the I~C.M.A. Conference which he attended September 17-21, 1972, in Minneapolis. He elaborated on the Revenue Sharing Bill stating that Pleasanton's'share would be approximately $196,000.00, and could be used for Capital Improvements related to Health, Recreation, Items related to the poor and aged, Financial administration, Environmental control, Public safety, and Libraries. It cannot be used as marching funds for other Federal funds. 9/25/72
