Valle Parkway and the Arroyo del Valle presently in the Study District <br /> Mayor Reid declared the Public Hearing open. <br /> Mr. Castro presented the staff report regarding this matter. <br /> Mr. Bud Lake, representing Morrison Homes, stated their concurrence with the <br />Planning Commission recommendations. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that <br />the Public Hearing be closed. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that <br />Ordinance No. 674, lifting the Study District Designation for a portion of Study <br />Area E, for those parcels fronting Black Avenue to revert said properties back <br />to the RM-2500 District (Multi-Family Residential), and retaining for a period <br />not to exceed 60 days that property located between the Del Valle Parkway and the <br />Arroyo del Valle presently in the Study District, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton to consider extensiQn <br />of the provisions of Ordinance No..668, placing property included in Tentativ~ .... <br />Tract Map 3311 (adjacent on the east the VCSD Sewage Treatment Plant) in an S <br />(Study) District for 60 days in order to allow completion of land use studies <br />with respect thereto <br /> Mr. Edgar stated that since this matter will be resolved one way or another in <br />early October, the extension of the Study District was not necessary, and the <br />matter should be dismissed from the agenda. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no reports of Boards and Commissions. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Report of the Director of Public Works Re: Parking Prohibition and Bicycle Pa~.h <br />along Hopyard Road <br /> Mr. Campbell presented the staff report and displayed a drawing regarding the <br />path and fence. <br /> The Council approved the recommendation regarding the construction of a fence <br />and the commencement of a bicycle trail on the west side of Hopyard Road between <br />the Arroyo del Valle and Black Avenue. <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> Mr. Edgar stated he would be attending the I.CoM.A. Conference in Minneapolis, <br />September 16-21, 1972o <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> There were no reports of the City Attorney~ <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />1.
