Letter from Livermore-Pleasanton Branch AAUW~ Re: Observation of City Council <br /> Meetings <br /> It was decided to submit an agenda only, to the AAUW, instead of a com- <br /> plete Council package. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> There were no City Council Committee Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Councilman Mori asked about the negotiations for use of Kaiser property for <br />mini-bike area. He was advised that an agreement will be forthcoming shortly. <br /> <br /> Councilman Herlihy asked that the Council consider the feasibility of putting <br />an item in the Budget entitled "gravel industries street maintenance costs", and <br />used to make Sunol Blvd. and First Street safe~ and put Santa Rita Road to <br />standards. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Reid recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 11:15 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid reconvened the meeting at 11:35 P.M. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 11:40 P.M., it was moved by Councilman <br />Kinney and seconded by Councilman Mori that the meeting be adjourned to meet <br />again in Adjourned Regular Session at 7:00 P.M., on September 18, 1972. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />WILLIAM H.
