<br /> Mr. Campbell presented the staff report regarding this matter, stating that

<br /> Resolution No. 72-147, approving acquisition of land for Bonde Reservoir, be
<br /> adopted.

<br /> Review of Bids and Award of Contract~ Bonde Reservoir Construction Project 72-4
<br /> Mr. Campbell presented the staff report regarding this matter and recommended
<br /> that Precomp Tanks, Inc., be awarded the bid to construct the Bonde Reservoir.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Adrian Thiel, Attorney representing C. Overra Company, the second lowest
<br /> bidder on this project, protested regarding the bid award and questioned the
<br /> clarity of the proposal as to an alternate bid plan.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Hirst stated the bid proposal was clear and met the criteria in this
<br /> regard.
<br />
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Pearson, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that
<br /> Resolution No. 72-148, awarding the bid for construction of Bonde Reservoir
<br /> Construction Project 72-4, to Precomp Tanks, Inc., of Kings Beach, Calif., in
<br /> the amount of $221,738.00, be adopted.
