REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Approval of Agreement~ Re: Veterans Memorial Building <br /> Mr. Edgar presented the report regarding this matter. <br /> Members of the Veterans Memorial Building Commission were present and spoke against <br />the City taking over the building for recreational purposes. <br /> Councilman Kinney requested this matter be continued to the meeting of August 7th, <br />for further reports from the staff. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE C~TY ATTORNEY <br /> There were no reports of the City Attorney presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> Mr. Edgar read a letter from Howard Neely, 448 Amador Court, inviting the City Council <br />to view a display model of downtown Pleasanton, at the Franklin Savings and Loan Building, <br />that was made by his students. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> There were no City Council Committee reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />MA~TERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> There were no matters initiated by Council members. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one addressed the Chair. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Reid recessed the meeting at 8:20 P.M., to an Executive Session. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid reconvened the meeting at 10:50 PoM. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 11:00 P.M., it was moved by Councilman Pearson and <br />seconded by Councilman Herlihy that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in Adjourned <br />Regular Session at 7:00 P.M., on July 31, 1972. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />HELEN C. cMCARTY~ <br /> <br />BY <br /> DORIS GEORGE, DEPUTY CITY CLERK <br /> <br /> 7-24-72 <br /> <br /> 3. <br /> <br /> <br />
