The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> There being no further discussion regarding this matter, it was moved by Councilman <br /> Kinney and seconded by Councilman Herlihy that Ordinance No.'671, an ordinance repealing <br /> Zoning Unit No~ llgB and the provisions of Ordinance 656 as they relate to certain pro- <br /> perties shown on Zoning Unit Not l19B and listed in Ordinance 656 by assessment parcel <br /> number and lifting the "S" (Study) District zoning designation from said properties <br /> located in what is commonly referred to as the Central Business District of the City of <br /> Pleasanton, be introduced. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Appeal o£ KIE-CON~ Inc.~ from an adverse decision of the Design Review Board in denying <br /> Zoning application to allow the construction of facilities for the fabrication of pre- <br /> stressed concrete products to be located in the Kaiser Industrial Area <br /> Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open° He also clarified the description in the <br /> appeal as it was advertized, correcting the appeal as to the conditions of the Design Re- <br /> view Board ~ather than an adverse decision of the zoning application, <br /> Mr. Edgar presented the staff report. Mr. Castro elaborated upon the report and dis- <br /> played maps of the area. Mr. Campbell stated the primary concern is that the water line <br /> be extended across the property in order to provide adequate services. <br /> Mr. Robert H. Kennedy, representing KIE-CON, Inc., stated they were appealing only <br /> Conditions 5, 6 and 14 of the conditions as set forth by the Design Review Board. He <br /> further stated his firm is willing to put in the water main later, but at first would <br /> like to use well water. <br /> Mr. Campbell said the well would be insufficient in the event of fire° Fire Chief <br />Jon Frudden concurred with this. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy and seconded by Councilman Kinney that the public <br />hearing be closed, <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori and seconded by Councilman Kinney that the appeal of <br />KIE-CON, Inc., from the conditions set forth by the Design Review Board be denied. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Kinney, Mori and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: Councilmen Herlihy and Pearson <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />Application of the Planning Commission~ Re: Proposed Ordinance of the City of Pleasanton <br />amending Chapter 2 of Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton by the <br />addition thereto of Article 13.5 providing for an RMR (Multi-Family Residential Overlay) <br />District and for regulations and requirements with respect thereto <br /> This matter was continued to the meeting of September 5, 1972, at the request of the <br />City staff~ <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> The~-e were ~ ~ecial reports presented. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no ~eports of Boards and Commissions presented. <br /> <br /> 7-24-72 <br /> <br /> 2. <br /> <br /> <br />
