<br /> Walker presented the staff report regarding this matter, stating the
<br /> American Legion Post No~ 115, in Walnut Creek, has requested permission to hold
<br /> a Western Music Event at the Alameda County Fairgrounds on June 3, 1973, with an
<br /> expected attendance of 10,000. The sponsor plans to advertise by telephone,
<br /> newspaper, radio and T.V.
<br />
<br /> Councilman Herlihy requested that as a condition of approval, no telephone
<br /> solicitation be permitted.
<br />

<br /> approve the application of the Walnut Creek Legion Post 115, to hold a Western
<br /> Music event at the Fairgrounds on June 3, 1973, with the condition that no tele-
