MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL March 12, 1973 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson, and Mayor Reid were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, and Mr. Castro, Director of Community Development, were present. AGENDAAMENUMENTS Mr. Edgar requested that an item be added to the Consent Calendar, regarding approval of Agreement with Alameda County for improvements of Foothill Road at New High School. Councilman Pearson requested that the Minutes of February 26, 1973, be corrected on page 2 to read as follows: "It was moved by CouncilmAn Pearson to amend the motion to set a maximum density on this property of RM-4000", instead of "minimum density". CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Kinney and seconded by Councilman Mori that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved as amended: a. Approval of City Council Minutes of February 26, 1973, as amended. b. Approval of Claims; Review of Financial Reports, February, 1973. c. Adoption of Resolution No. 73-30, approving Agreement for Completion of Improvement Work by Donald and Judith Sooby on Pinehill Lane. d. Adoption of Resolution No. 73-31, approving progress payment No. 7, to Precomp Tanks, Inc., for work completed on Bonds Reservoir, Project 72-4, in the amount of $13,396.79. e.Adoption of Resolution No. 73-32, approving Agreement with Alameda County for improvements of Foothill Road at New High School. Mr. Castro presented the staff report regarding this matter It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that the public hearing be closed.
